spot on i brought this up in the land rover section . slunie wanted to know somthing about bumpstop clearance ect on a sii landy. and one thing you will never find in a factory workshop manual is the bump stop clearance. no manual i have read ever has had this. so how the hell would a regobloke/insurance bloke/copper ect know if it had to much suspension lift anyway with in reasion this would never stand in a court. and as some one else said with the ricers as long as there not under 100mm at the lowest point its fine. even if there on the bump stops and there is nothing more un predictable and dangerous than a car on bump stops. yet i bet you see one every day. i bet you dont see 3" spring lifts in in cruisers nissans ect every day. we are getting shafted hard here.Cossie wrote:I've asked countless times before but it seems that no-one actually knows the bump stop measurements of a standard GQ. So if no-one knows, how can they prove you have exceeded the allowed lift?
