Its run by the TLCC which is the sydney landcruiser club. Its on their website. ITs not on again until the end of the year. I think its the beginning of September.

You have to be in a club to be able to enter. The club needs at least 4 vehicles i think to enter.

There is a Clubkana event on the Willowglen property in March this year which would be a good starting point for you if you havnt driven events before as it is designed to cater for all degrees of experiece and modifications. I think its run by Off road 4x4 club or something like that.Again you need to be a member of a club and places for that event are filling very fast.

TLCC's Willowglen Challenge is on the October long weekend.

Invited clubs field teams of 4 vehicles, plus a reserve (optional).

They are moving away from the 'outlaw' type vehicles; 2005 saw max. tyre size limit at 36.5", and (supposedly) no buggy/rock-crawler type vehicles (although they were cheesed off at some that weren't in the spirit of the rules; organisers will crack down on that this year we were told).

CanberraMav is right about the Clubkhana, but it's a 'club-invite' style again.

Nissan Patrol Club is holding a 'Son of Trials' for standard vehicles, open to all comers (i.e. don't have to be in a club) in March. Check their website.
Cheers, Tony

Keyword is invited clubs..Here is some heresay and rumour for you..

My old boy was president of the hastings valley offroad club and we entered it two years ago. We got an invite for last year but the club had partially disbanded. We were told if we wanted to enter this year it would be fairly difficult as entry is on an invitation type basis..

Too much interest = too many vehicles. I could be very very wrong though..

Willowglen Challange is on the Long weekend in October. If you want to know the exact details send an email to Challange@tlcc.com.au and Tony will be able to answer any questions you have.

It is not by invite only, but if we don't know your club exists then we can't send you an information and an invite. But it is also first in when the invites go out.
