Who won??

I had to leave early this morning because lee broke the tube cruiser in a bad way and wanted to get home.

Sorry I had to pull out of judging today Sam.

Had a good day saturday. Tim drove really well and will continue to in his new buggy. Antunac is going to spank everyone in WE Rock, he is good driver and his buggy seems to work really well.

Bring on the 2006 WE Rock season.

It was a great event again ( a BIG  for Sam Overton )as it is a good warm up for the year and WEROCK. But this is a great event just to have some fun on the rocks so anyone that would like to compete in a rockcrawling event and have some fun this is the one to do so come on guy and girls lets get behing sam and lets get in there for next time.
Don't quote me jamie but i think it went like this

1st Pete (offroad performance warehouse)

2nd Tim (4wd Australia)

3rd Adrain ( Team Mickey Tompson)

4th Damien (homeless)

5th Tom (Haultech)

6th Jamie H (Team HRT)

7th Alan (Pro Comp)

8th Dan (shorty40)

THESE SCORES ARE NOT TO GO OFF UNTIL SAM/RUFF/POS TO POST but i hope it helps a little bit

PS : I would also like to thank Hans & Heidi from Rover Park for having us, all the cooking staff over the weekend,4WD TV,Offroadimages,Dirtsport mag, and big thanks to the major sponsor Mickey Tompson Tyres,Mick in the Mogrover for all the recoverys(again) and last but not least Sam. 4wding in australia would not be what it is now if it wasn't for you.

here's my video. not much on it, too wet so i couldn't be farked filming :finger:

has some of the comp, and some of the normal wheeling on it. also shows how we had to get the cruiser off the truck this arvo

must thank not2.8 for lending us his generator and welder, and skippy for lending us his car to get the cruiser back out...also the guy in the lwb patrol/mav that came back and picked us up to get us to camp

the swayaways are pretty impressive. had the whole front corner resting on them sideways cause of the tire. drove back a kay or two to camp, and it still is dead straight

anyway, here is the vid

Pete's driving was good...but Troll00 in the Homeless went off

He absolutely ate up 2 of the courses that the other big dollar buggies could barely drive.

Go the HOMELESS

Had an absolute ball spotting for Damien (Troll00) in the homeless :D . We had a good start but poor finish on Sat when a broken CV made us miss two courses completely  . But on Sunday the Homeless was on fire  . We finished with 10 points for the day which was second only to Tim in a Moon Buggy and Damien drove some fawken awsome shiat  . The drive up the rock wall will be remembered for a long time considering how tuff the others were doing it

Anyway we ended up finishing 4th not far behind Adrian which was great because at the end of the first day we were on 136 and he was on minus 36  .

I would like to thank Sam heaps for giving us a go in the Homeless  just shows there is still some fire in the old girl  . Also thanks for all the people who stepped up to judge and officiate and a big congrats to the spectators who came out in the rain to watch some awsome driving by all the competitors.

Great weekend

Weather wasn't the best - but it didnt stop some great driving :D

Pete and Tim seemed to be in a class of their own  The other moon buggies were hot on their heels as was Jamie and the Homeless

My weekend didnt start well, with a blow out on the trailer at 100kph on the way to Rover Park

My poor weekend continued with a snapped front drive shaft on the first course - which Dan (A1MAV) welded back up in no time  . We made it to the second course in time and proceeded to bind up the front unis on a climb (see pic) which snapped the transfer case in half  Weekend over

Having done all that I still had a top weekend watching the others guys put on an amazing show

Big Arms up to Sam and the Haultec boys for putting a big effort in and making this event happen again  Well done to Pete for the win  And look out guys - here comes Timmy   And big thanks to Dan (A1MAV) for spotting for me

Yep agree with everyone IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND apart from the rain.
We had a bit of bad luck on saterday after breaking a c clamp and uni on the front shaft but got it fixed with the help of a tent peg welded in place ( worked better than the dana 44 crap) Had to rebuild the carbs on friday in the rain then sunday we broke the transfer centre diff lock but had a good time and lernt a lot. Cant wait for the first round in march
We will have a new front diff new transfer new tyres and rims and whole new looking front end
Drive of the weekend was adrian on sunday i think when he started a coarse in reverse and finished with 1second on the clock and to top it off he had near zero steering I learnt just from watching that one!
And POS i have allready spoke to MICKEY THOMPSON about a new set of sticky mickies cause holly crap thay are awsome
Was wondering if 83lux or anyone else that was there knows the name or number of the guy driving the blue rangie that helped us out with getting our rig back to gether and running on friday????? All i know is he races winch trucks and lives down gold coast! Perhaps simon from4wd tv knows him as thay were talking on friday????
Oh and Cheers SAm O for a great weekend and TONY TOM and ADRIAN for advise on fixing my rig and other things :D
Cheers Jamie H

Thanks Jamie for the use of my Tyres, Rims and Axels on the weekend as if i had them at home you could of not even competed on the weekend at all but I knew you'd need the seat time before WEROCK starts.. :D :P .
And if you needed to know anythink about the buggie all you needed to do is ask.

I hope the weld i (didn't  ) did on the front drive shaft worked out for you.

As you didn't have to run the diff if you didn't want too.

Oh and Cheers SAm O for a great weekend and TONY TOM and ADRIAN for advise on fixing my rig and other things
Cheers Jamie H

Rod i thanked you b4 and during the event and we even joked about how i thought the c clamps were shit but you had never broken one And it was adrians idea to weld a tent peg around it as we thought being cast steel it would not hold.
But if you would like it on the forum for what ever reason well here goes
" Thank you rod for letting me run your tyres and front diff and for helping with the cclamp fix"
Cheers Jamie H
