hi there can someone help me i broke my tail shaft from my transfre case to my rear diff on my 85 model 1.3 ltr swb sierra and was wondering if all 1.3ltr tail shafts will fit

No not all 1.3 tailshafts will fit. You will need a tailshaft from a 85-88 model i.e the Narrow Track 1.3 sierras. Tailshafts from Wide Track sierras will not fit.

yeah there are differances, you need to see if you have 10 or 8 mm, bolts, i broke mine not long ago , and got one from mark at suziworks, cheaper including freight then i could locally by a long way , Just make sure you put the new one , the right way round when you replace it.

And make sure the yokes are in phase otherwise you will get vibrations.

Not to Hijack but the last post buy making sure the Yokes are in phase how do you make sure they are, I am getting Vibrations in my Sierra from taking after I unbolted it to do spring over work.

did you actually split the shaft at the slip joint or just undo the flange???
in phase means the shaft has to be inline at the slip joint, usually marks on either end to line up with or the uni's have to line up at each end ( i think) :?

where are you ? i have a tailshaft sitting here but not sure what its out of
could be a 1.3 NT im in melb
1999 SQ625 Manual Grand Vitara. Lifted, Twin Locked, 31' Extremes, dual Batteries, Winch.
Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.
