g-day all,
After the weekend at brunswick I have had a name change for me and the Disco "Pit fighter" after all of the battle scars.
Steave and I are IN for the challenge and to hopefully crank team evolution to new hights!! It was great to get the support from all the crew on the week end and look forward to our first team meeting. Duncan if the offer to co/nav/spot for me is there I will take it?( let me know ?) with Steave and beavan in the TJ, the Disco, your knowledge, and my right ,foot some arse kicking could and should take place!!!

Sorry Gav might have been to pissed to no what I was saying on the weekend but wether we run my zuk rules permiting or Daves shorty mav but we are bitches together for this year with probably me driving and Dave spotting .Hopping to have Shane who also has a zuk buggy he is just about finishing as our second car if he cant make it we have 2 other zuks who want a run in the comp .I fwe run the mav Im not sure who to ask to be our second car as if you have to self recover a car of about the same weight would be good but maybe a hilux type car as longer narrower wheel base might let him get places we cant then we can winch of him to recover will have to see sorry again

Yes christmas drinks are on this wekend cant make it either talked to Alan Crane yesterday and was told that they would be discusing vehicle classes and tyre sizes for next years comp got the vib of Alan that there will be an unlimited class as apart from myand Shanes buggies there are aparently some Out back Challenge vehicles that want to have a go and also some of the wilder street cars all of these cars are definatly not D class so we can only hope. Also found out that the openning of the park and the winch challenge are classed as a club event so looks like any vehicle any tyre size Alan said that you will definatly not drive the course you will have to winch as its undrivable .

I sent in my nomination form yesterday im doing all 4 event with Dave as my spotter either in the zuk if allowed or in Daves shorty GQ .

Alan alos said there will be a few more busy bees up at the course so he needs a hand just keep checking out the web site for dates and times we have to keep behind these guys so it will get of the ground

I have a Q regarding the two vehicle team setup.
Will the two vehicles need to be simmilarly matched mod wise or can a near stocko and fully modded vehicle team up?
Is the scoring going to be worked out individually or as a team?
ie if one in the team farks up will it affect points to the other member?

I wish I had the time and the cash to build a buggy but I am having enough problems just doing the lux and the zook :?

Talked to Alan today and after the weekend it looks like they are going to run A,B,C and unlimited classes for the Championship. So buggies or larger tyres lok like there in.

As for the winch challenge its a 2 car team event also but its up to you if both cars have winches.

Alans daughter is on holiday for a couple of weeks so if you send your money in for the events you wont get to much imfo for a while.

Nathan was told by Alan that you need to run parking lights for the night comp as you are going to be instructed to turn them of so that your spotter wont be blinded and so the spectators can see the vehicles as for the rest of the lights im not sure but im running spots, for head lights and work lights for reversing but i will run some parking lights it 2 on the rear and 2 on the front as far apart as possible .Going to Drews tomorrow will have a gander at the vit im certain that your car has to be registerd for insurance purposes
