hey guys,
gonna get new tyres this week, prob wed, im thinkin im gonna get the Mudstars for $178.50 ea fitted and balanced i cant see where im going wrong, i know i know Mongrels this Mongrels that but i dont really like or drive mud that much,
so has anyone run 33s or 34s on standard offset, im presuming mine are pretty standard offset theyre maybe an inch or an inch and a half spaced from the wheel nuts, but theyre 15x7s, anyone had 33 or 34s on a standardish offset 15x7 wheel and had problems, i dotn wanna go higher as in bodylift, i got the material there if i need to but dont want to, but most 33/34s are 12.5" wide and thats 2" wider than the ST's at the moment, could be a problem on the front i rekon....guess ill see

33/34s on standard rims
Moderator: -Scott-
Also leagaly your not suposed to run 33's on anything less than an 8" rim. But this depends on just how much a turd the tire dude isNoisey wrote:Dean, you really should be looking at a 8" rim for both of the tyres you want to run. 34's will rub in the front by my guess and your gearing will suffer a bit aswell.
He who laughs last thinks slowest.
tyres
im aware that both it is not recommended nor specifically legal to run 33" or 34" tyres on 7s but has anyone done it on their paj cos iv heard of plenty of guys running 33"x12.5" on 7s and been fine, not necessarily legal but fine, just wondering if anyone has or not? i just cant find a set of 15x8s that are worth the effort... and im not in the position to buy new, although procomp have a "buy a set of procomp tyres and get a set of procomp wheels FREE" kinda deal goin on, but even still i cant afford the 1000+ for the tyres even if i am getting rims free

yeh see i msg Mudtoy about this, hes from 4WD TV and runs all the tyre comparos and he loves and rates the Mudtsar very high, and this was his answer to running the 33x12.5 15 Mudtar on a 7" rim,
deanDean, the mudstars by Nankang are awesome off road, handle great on road and wear very well. They are a great price and you will be pleased with them.
They will be great on a 7 inch rim also.
Cheers,
Simon.
