not sure what you mean dude, you already have a 5 link and how does he expect you to make the arms sit flatter unless you put in after market ones to push the diff back?

I think he means, build a "A"-frame. I know in Japan they sell bolt in A-frames... As for getting the trailing arms sitting flatter then is the only thing i've seen. http://www.man-a-fre.com/pa/4plus80seri ... ackets.htm

Well by puting longer bottom arms in for an a frame then they would be on less of an angle...
The only thing you can really do is drop the trailing arm hangers on the chassis rail or move the lower hangers forward so you can put longer arms in the bottom to decrease the angle,but if your going to that hassle you may aswell fit an A frame to the top to.Have you been and seen a different engineer to see if he say's anything about it?

This is wat i wouldnt mind doin.. this sorta set up.. but not quiet as extreme..
looks like hes moved the mounting points on the chassis for the lower arms about 500mm to the front. you'd want some strong ass lower arms cos i reckon they'd be landing on rocks all the time wouldnt you ?

The pinion would have a lot of up and down movement because the top A frame arms are a lot shorter than the bottom.I now there is a measurment around on how close in lenght the top and bottom arms have to be and how far apart the top and bottom arms have to be where they mount on the chassis.
I dont see any point in making the lower arms longer and leaving the uppers the same length. Is there enough room to turn it into a 4-link but without using an a-frame. By using lower arms up top centred on the diff and angled out to the chassis rails?
visit pirate and download the 4 bar link calculator - it has anti-squat, roll axis.etc outputs after you input the lengths of the arms and other bits and pieces.
i don't know about having short a-frame arms as said, poor pinion!
looks like it may have been fuel tank related...
