What Brand of Leads?

Post by just cruizin' »

Going to get a new set of ignition leads for my newly purchased sierra and am just wondering what brand ppl recommend and where to purchase these from. I don't want to get the supercheap dodgy brother ones so I need to know what to look and ask for.

Thanks

I take it you have a stock engine and don't run duel fuel ?

I would honestly just buy a set of bosch super sport from supercheap - they are good quality and I have had two or three sets on my rangies.

I have upgraded to a set made by Queensland Ignition Leads recently to see if that improved my LPG performance and increased my plug life - they are good but the price difference is considerable.

Bosch leads should cost you $5 - $6 a lead and don't forget to get one for the dizzy - the qld ignition leads for my v8 were $120 from memory.

Lead shmead, the real action is in the boot, its no good having 18mm super turbo wanker leads if the boots are a crap fit and let water in, stopping you at the first puddle (or even more embarising, Car Wash!)

The Bosch ones are quite good, but I prefer top gun max 300's these with silicon boot and lead and will be good for years.

I have clicky 4 you --> http://www.topgunleads.com.au/products1.html
