LC60 diffs - crush tubes

Post by Slunnie »

Gday Folks,

Does the LC60 diff have a crush tube on the pinion like the 8" diffs, or are they solid and shimmed. I'm wondering if I have to worry about preloads as the pinion flanges need to be pulled of for machining.
Cheers

IM PRETTY SURE 60'S UP TO ABOUT 84-85 WERE SHIMMED AND AFTER THAT WERE CRUSH TUBE. LATE CAN BE MODDED TO TAKE A SOLID SPACER AND SHIMMED THATS JUST AS GOOD.
