MK Shakle reversal

Post by pongo »

Ok . I did actually managed some damage on the weekend. Appin is a crazy arsed place and i havent even seen half of it  . As the pics show the passenger side front hanger is :bad-words: . Now, I read up on a shackel reversal and all seems pretty straight forward. While the front diff is out ill most likely rebuild the front diff and weld it up

Is there any thing to look out for doing a reversal ?

I need a pink slip shortly , so Should i just Hillbilly Repair it untill after or could it sqeeze through rego? ( do you know a place to take it ;) )

I guess an engineers in order, But anybody got a rough figure for one for this mod ? I know string comes in different lengths, but im keen to find out a rough guesstimate

basically, wen you engineer a rig you usually have to pay a flat amount and it covers most mods...
you will prob end up paying $400 to engineer that....

it wont pass rego with that there unless the mechanic doesnt see it... if he see it your gone, i would be welding it back up then shackle reversal after.
