so let me understand u want to run dropped hangers and then extended shackles????

my set up uses:
2" dropped hangers
2" extended banana shackles
custom hilux rears up front (made by springworks towoomba )
superior engineering shock hoops
procomp es9000 12" long travel shocks
8" extended brake lines
custom made drive shaft (box section :D)

now i use to run this set up without dropped hangers and i was having problems with axle wrap and the pinion angle was BAD, the dropped hangers fixed that to an extent.

the steering i use is cross-over prower steering. but i guess pictures are worth a thousand words so when i could be bothered i'll go take some pictures of the setup

yea bud do get sum pics please would be greate, wat was different bout ur "custom" rears to the std ones? yea im wanting to runn 50mm drop front and droped bak (shackel end) so i can run these drop shackels on the front, they work on the bak, hav heard that they can make steering a bit lose but i wanna try it out!

Hi there Tyler,

In my opinion, drop shackles are not then best option. i run rears up front with banana shackles and use the full length of a 12" shock. you Can't fit a taller shock tower in the front without cutting into the body to make it worth while. with drop shackles you'd have to use a 14" or 16" shock to fully utilse the drop shackles. Sorry if this sounds a little wierd, i've had a couple of cans whilst watching teh cricket.

haha thats alright few cans r good for ya :D cuttin in to the guards was a plan of myn and using a cross section inbetween the huge shock hoops to brace them! im wanting a rather large travel range out of the front! but im gonna take my time doin it! so that hopefuly i get it right the first time

like stumpy said, i use banana shackles and mine fully max out my shock and i cant fit a bigger one in without cutting into the inner guard, wow stumps u copying me

and my custom pack consists of the load leaves from a hilux front in order for it to be able to support the weight of the engine ;) , u can make it up yourself though, its not that hard, but i didnt have normal rears and got these at a good price ;)

thats alright AZa i know alot less than u mate, so ill be right to drop the front hanger 50mm and put the rear one (where the shackel is) unda the chassis and keep the pinion angle close to the same??
