Fuels V.69

Post by Vineboy »

Okay I know this has probably been done to death but can I run my 1985 1.3 zook on ulp or PULP without adding lead additive? I know I can't run any ethanol which is a bummer because it's cheap here ($1.22)

I run E10 with good conscience, have done so for just over 8000k's and when i do my engine conversion i plan to document the engiens condition (from initial use at 192 thou till opening)

Rather than post up what i've said in other forums those who are interested read this http://www.fordlaser.com/forum/viewtopi ... ht=ethanol

A lot of myths a spread concerning E10 and truth be told studies show that almost all E10 related 'failures' have been skapegoats by owners of poorly serviced vehicles or engines on the way out. The NSW goverment conducted test on it's fleet during the early 90's and did not find any technical faults
