since the turbo blew up the motor i rebuilt the motor its gettin hot on warm days goin up hills i backed the fuel off and the boost and still doin it

Fan working? Thermostat opening fully? Radiator blocked? If fan and thermostat are ok and you are not sure about radiator I would get it cleaned, not uncommon for them to be found partially blocked so they only cause overheating when the engine is laboured eg. going up hills. Did you have the cyl head checked while the engine was apart?

Model and year of vehicle could help.

i had same prob with my LC 80 petrol.
i had rad flushed, $100 = not fixed
then clutch fan & thermostat replaced $320 = not fixed
radiator opened at radiator specialist was 70-80% blocked, = $275
seems to be ok now, fingrs crossed

Agree, When I suggested getting radiator cleaned out I meant remove radiator and get radiator shop to properly clean out (rod the core). If its just a clean out and there are no repairs necessary it shouldn't be too expensive. $90 to $140 depending on where you go. steveb's price of $275 would have been for the whole job (r&r radiator, clean out, coolant & labour). Do it yourself if you are able/have time, its not hard.

While your doing that, bung your thermostat in a saucepan on the stove and make sure its opening properly (dont forget the water)

Have you looked at the viscous coupling for the clutch fan???

Is your fan shroud still in place? My lux was doing the same thing. Did everything that everyone's mentioned and even put in a factory thermostat. (make sure you do that) and the factory one is cheaper and better than a repco one. All that work did a pretty good job but it was still getting hot. Mechanic reckons a shroud will ensure the whole radiator gets cooled by the fan. Remove and refit of the radiator is piss easy. Don't pay for someone to do that.
