I'm up to my nuts in guts (wiring) so I thought seek a definitive answer before I go any further.
I've just removed OEM cassette/radio with aftermarket SONY CD stacker, connected together via a powered FM modulator. Now have a new JVC stereo to install (in dash CD etc) but I doubt it would talk direct to the SONY stacker. However, the JVC has 2x RCA in, same as the FM modulator.
Can you bypass the '2 channel RCA in / aerial FM signal out' on an FM modulator but still use it for controlling original CD stacker via it's dash mount control panel?
ie: Would the FM modulator give a toss whether it's converting a signal or not but continue to allow the dash panel to control the stacker?
Thanks,
Hardy
