The photos of my car I sent to Chunkz show that I also have the Monza seats and they are positioned a little behind the back of the targa bar. The seats are mounted on the regular sierra rails using the existing front holes, but I had to drill a couple of extra ones to secure the rear.

It looks like everyone has requirements that are subtly different. I can take my car up to them as soon as all the details are sorted. If they need to keep it a while I'll have to arrange it with them.

just have the seats slid forward or tipped forward when you put the top on, then push the seat into the top - it will soon stretch to the correct shape =)

I did this with my softy to get my bmx in the back... jammed it in there and left it overnight and out in the sun for a day... the top now caters for the tyres hitting it.

Yep just like mine Shamus :) I'm after a bikini top more than anything, unless they can definetly get one to fit properly with our seats!

This is Maria from mu canvas. I will talk to the guy at RACQ on Tamborine this week to see if I he could let me his car to make patten of all the item I will like to make for suzukis. I'll talk to him to about the difference in model and years, if there are any. I do not know anything about suzukis but I'll work something out.
Once I have a car and I have a basic patten then I can work on modification as requery.
For people that push the seat all the way back, in jeeps Ihade made a costumize back cover that goes on an ungle from the roll bar to half way to the back of the car. There are pictures and comments in our web page and in ausjeepoffroad.com under wrangler drivers: TJ HALF TOPS QUESTION page 3.
Hope all of this helps.

Not sure how the tyre cover is held on to the spare on the jeep version. I currently have an elasticated SuperCheap vinyl tyre cover and with any highway driving with the top off the wind inflates it and rips it off. Fortunately its never come completely off into someone elses windscreen :). Having the tonneau cover would effectively be the same as not having the top on. Easily fixed with some restraining straps but worth mentioning.

My guess is wrong size cover. Granted I am only new to this whole thing, I have done a bit of freeway driving with my top off (umm my soft top off that is) and never haad air get under the tyre cover wnough to notice, is not really that elacsitised around the back wither. Assumedly a tyre cover for say a 29 inch tyres, what i currently have on my car, would be a lose fit on a 26 inch tyre, what I have as my spare, and on the sme thikning, I doubt this tyre cover would fit on a 29 inch tyre as it's a really snug fit on the 26.

that's just a theroy using basic math skills which I can write out the equation for if you would like.

I'll check with a few mates and there may be a few more, and maybe save on freight by sending them all to one of us.

Ralph, with email lawson-smith I can get your e-mail to work.

I might be getting a suzuki next week.

Once I see which soft tops I can make I will post here type and prices and then everyone can decide what you need.

All of this will take a bit of time, I'll do my best to do not to much time.

Thanks everyone for your interest.

Looks good guys - this is for my son's Suzi - how are the different roll bars going to work? I would be happy to get a flat tonneau (without rollbar cutouts) and get it locally modified to suit....
