tyres and rims?

Post by --sinner-- »

hey all currently running 15x7's on my 84 4runner with 10.5 inch tyres and they run flush with the guards. i bought some smick 15x8's, if i run the same size tyres, will they stick out much at all? or if i stick 12.5s on it, will i have a worse turning circle than i already do? would i need 15x10's to run 12.5s?
cheers

15x8 rims with 12.5 tyre is a standard combonation

probably best to fit a set of rubber flares 1 to stop some of the crud flying everwhere 2 to keep the boys in blue happy
its not a neccesity tho

as for the turnin circle should still be fairly sweet

whether they will stick out any more depends on the back spacing.

Measure from the outside of the wheel to the mounting plate on both wheels.

If this number is the same so will you protrusion.

as plowy said, 15 X 8s is common,

I run 35 x 12.5's on 15x8's
