thats what i was thinking mate, getting it locally done, because every ones is different, and would be too hard to get exact measurements and details without maria seeing it

I could be interested depending on how much are they gonna cost.

Put me down for a black set (no tyre cover) as one of the "IF" (if money permits!!! :P )

A bikini top should be quite cheap, coz the jeep ones on ausjeep are cheaper than any of the suzy bikini tops available and the suzy ones are alot smaller

do what i usally do chuck most of ur gear in ur mates car while theyre not looking. youll be able to keep up then cos their car is bigger and you wont have much weight. this will only work if they dont have a zook.

Hi everyone, thanks for all your interest.
I more interest on making the three pieces soft tops and sale them indevidualy. Then if you have the bikini and you want any of the other you will be able to.
Once I have the pattern I'll give you prices for each piece and then you can order.
If any one wants the matching wheel cover I will need to know mesaurements of the wheel.
With the roll bars, once I have the main pattern I can work with mesuarements and go around the roll bars.
What a really need to do first is to have a look at the car.
The other day we went 4WD to a park that at the back yard of the office had like 10 different suzukis! could not belive my eyes! Even on the mountian I have seen like 5 diferent....! So far for what I looked is not going to be hard at all. I need to see how to attache the soft tops to the car and we go from there
Time:.... well I do this in my spear time. I could be flat out for the next week or so, then I'll be working on the soft tops on weekends! but if I'm not busy I'll be working with the soft tops during the week.
OK thanks again to all of you

We are going to need to wait another week to do this patterns as Shamus could not bring the sierra up because of personal matters.

Thanks Maria,

As there are a lot of people excited and waiting on this I should briefly explain as some people may be upset at the last minute change of plan ... This morning my wife collapsed and as a result of the tests done today it appears she had a heart attack (age 34  ). All is as well as can be expected and it served as a warning shot.

I have re-arranged to take my car up to Maria next weekend instead as clearly my plans for this weekend have changed somewhat. So hopefully it won't be much longer ... :)
