Best turbo kit??

Post by jeep97tj »

Been doing a bit of searching around here on 5L diesel Hilux turbo kits and most that iv read seem to like or have the DTS kits or as there now known MTQ Engine Systems.

Iv also been searching the net and found the cappa kits use the same Mitsubishi TDO4 Turbocharger but cappas kits are $300 cheaper. Does any one know if there is any differences between the 2 kits to justify the extra $300. Can anyone give any feed back on the cappa kits?

A few links that i have found.

Any one have or know of any other kits that are any good? the lux will be used for towing

Thanks Shane

Denco also put out a kit for turboing the hilux motors. I have helped fit two of these and seem pretty good ;)

What about putting a 2L Surf turbo ass. on a 5L? Is this a practical, cheap option?
