CV joint problems?

Hi all, a very good customer of mine had blown a cv joint. so i stripped the 95 wagon with 4.66, lockers, 35" simex down and found the short side cv joint had imploded internally causing major havick. thought is share with you the damge report.


when you do something do it properly! like he did.. not a bad effort. :armsup:

that looks like hes driven home in 4wd with the hubs still in :rofl:

I have had a bell explode into that many peices and the spider was non existent :oops:

they always take out the axle splines. it's painfull.

i ed like too know too???? i broke 4 GQ CV's like that. got sick of changing them so i put a GU front diff in ha ha.. No more broken CV's now...

put up some specs on how much bigger the cv's are in a front gu housing..

unfortunately the stub axle is the same diameter.
