I was thinking of replacing the dogy 13" rims on my 6x4 trailer with some old sierra stockys, but to do this I will have to replace the 4 stud ford pattern hubs, with some sort of zuk stud pattern hubs. Has anyone done this, or can anyone suggest the best source of sierra type hubs?? Any info would be great....Thanks
When I made a trailer for my Moke, I took the Moke wheels into the Trailer Factory, and they made up an axle to suit at the track width I wanted...I imagine this could be done with zook stud pattern, especially as they are the same as some others.
Thinking of making myself a light weight camper for the zook, like one I made for my old Moke.

zuk trailer
i have been seriously thinking about making a Zook camper trailer to tow behind my vit.
i am also stuck on how i am going to mount the zook wheels up. i have 2 sets of spare front hubs from my vit that i wouldn't mind fitting up. i am also planning to make it the same track width as my vit with 31"s.
i am still trying to decide whether to go leaf spring set up (spoa to keep the level ride height) or to go Independant coils.
maybe we can make this into a ZOOK trailer thread. anyone got any pics and ideas? i remember MUD4B had a sierra trailer up for sale. anyone know if he still has it or if its sold, i'd like to see some pics of it.

U could use a rear of a zook as a ute style trailer. use the chassis as well and then u got the chassis mounts for the springs and lights already there.
What about running a zok rear axle in the trailer or not good to do that??

Would work ok, I used back half of a Moke, to build a trailer for my ex's electric wheelchair (no way it fit into a Moke)nicbeer wrote:U could use a rear of a zook as a ute style trailer. use the chassis as well and then u got the chassis mounts for the springs and lights already there.

But it is an awful lot of extra weight, which Zooks and Mokes don't need.
I think its cool to see half car trailers, tho.
But for off road use, weight would have to be mimnimal, and track and suspension needs to be the same as possible.
My camper trailer was a motor bike camper, with its little wheels removed, and a spoa wt 13" moke wheels...tracked ok off road, wish I still had it for the zook.
My thought for a zook camper is a very light simple trailer, with a roof top type tent fitted.
