On a normal weekend there is heaps of room for vans and it is easy as to get them in and out of the main campground in the dry. If it rains however it is hard enough to get yourself out.

I'm coming as a spectator on Saturday and was just wondering about prices. It would seem from the Tough Tracks forum that Janowen is charging normal fees. So $5/night camping plus whatever for driving. However I won't be camping or driving so where does that leave day trippers?

Rod and I went out for a little look yesterday and got home about 4am this morning   damn people filling me with alcohol ;)

There was some great driving (especially Rolly  ) and some entertaining stunts as well..Dean flopping the zook over twice and then not backing off the 3rd time and being the only zook to complete the entire course..big  ;)

Was great to get to out to a comp with full bodied rigs for a change  :P , and the turnout of specatators was definatley more than what i expected and more than almost any other comp last/this year i attended  :P
WELL DONE

Congrats to all involved, can't wait to get my shitter out there and competing  :P

Had a good weekend, Tene (wife) was getting better at being the navi with each track. Fav track was the last track, but special mention goes to the good job Tene did Naviing from the 800 point mark at the top of Track 2 :D

Big thanks to Racheal and her three boys for looking after Trophy class so well.

Great Weekend Again!!

All had a good one, and with no damage for the Mav'. Stuck at the first BIG jump up on track, finished the second and wimped out on the third to avoid damage. Stilll wondering if I would have sustained the damage that I was worried about (the bad part about having a wagon!!)

Saw some excellent drives, Pesy Pete, Brett T., Big George, Mick W. (Gold 80). Pete and Brett make it all look easy, George, love the V8 note, always know when you're on the track, Mick just does what he does and his navvie gets him there.

The Maybelline boys and Scotty H. (83lux) make it look easy!!

Thanks to all those who put effort in on all fronts building tracks and to the officials, ably lead by Craig, well done. Without you guys it wouldn't get off the ground. Love your work.

Hopefully see you all at the team event, or failing that round 2.

Regards

Only video, unedited, too much and not even on the 'puter yet.

Usually I have a heap of stills from my digi camera as one of the guys who comes with us runs around like a blue arse fly. But he bought his own camera so I'll have to wait until I get the CD with 'em on it, which I'll post up.

Sorry Antt.....the alternative would have been to ACTUALLY BE THERE!!!!
