Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a way to lift my Gen 1 more than the known 2" at the front? I already cranked the torsion bars but i 'm wondering if there is a way to do something more... (the solution of fitting bigger tires is another story, i 'm looking for something with my suspension)

Sure cut it off and put a solid axle under it. There are no hidden secrets for getting more out of the ifs.

I managed to get 65mm out of my old IFS front end.
That was with a big t/bar crank and trimming the upper bumpstops down to about 10mm and using hex bolts for more room.
You can do a upper balljoint flip and use 10mm spacers (only on a Gen 2 Paj) to obtain a bit more travel and make room for more t/bar cranking but there are issues with doing this.
There's really not a lot you can do with the front IFS as it is.
The rear can go up 2.5-3" using raised coils and or spacers but you are limited to go any higher as the front can't get enough height to match the rear.

You blow tierods and idler arms often with a balljoint flip. Asking me how I know. ;)

Thanks guys, you 've done it! You managed to put me in troubles! :) Now i'm thinking more seriously the front solid axle solution. Is there anyone that has done it before in a Gen 1???
