GU BODY LIFT?
GU BODY LIFT?
how do you do a GU body lift? it's a gu ute... i think they're studs? how much does it cost, how big can u go before steering mods?
mkDude,
Pretty easy to do in an arvo. 2 inch blocks are legal(nylon).
High tensile bolts 2" longer than the originals should do it
The 2 existiing body bolts under the radiator have captive nuts welded in.
Take the bolts out and drill out the nuts. drop the new bolts through the nuts
from the top and use nylocs. Same procedure for the 2 in the cab.
The rear 2 are straight forward.
You might have to lengthen the clutch line under the vehicle.....or at least loosen it up a bit
change radiator height, or take the shroud off,
remember to re-tighten the steering knuckle.
Post some before and after pics. Ive prolly missed a couple of things , but good luck anyways.
