hey guys and girls
i thought it be a good day to replace the points in the GQ ripped out the old put in the new, played around a bit whacked it together
now it wont start is there something im missing something i havent done im at a total loss???
i kinda need irruning by sunday as my camry runs out of rego and it has one or two things need fixing before i can rwc it and change the rego name to mine and so on
help would be good right now guys thanx matt

1995 land rover disco on 265 muddies
i didnt touch any thing else, roatr arm back in and the bolt to hol it
made sure there were no cracks in the distributa lid made sure all leads were in thight
i did try to set the gap but it had me stumped a bit:) as i aint sure what sort of gap got to be set?????????
i only got a really basic feller gauge i think i used a 30
probly should of used a buisness card

i just use a bit of card torn off an old spark plug packet ect works a treat for the gap. im beyond farting around with feelers its only points not rocket science. good idea to keep a set in ya glove box with the tools to change them. then when thay die in the bush its no worrys.
