with the 4.2L petral GQ we have the idler wheel now it rattles the more you accle my question is?? is it a matter of just regreasing the bearings in it or just replace the whole thing???

as for my last post the 4by is actually running alot beter then it was before contacts must have been screwed bad :)

when you say idler, Do you mean the one on the fan belts. If so i just pulled mine out went to bearing place and payed a few $$ and got a new one. They are usually sealed units

question how did u get the bearing out?? after you took the clip out with plyers did ya just knock it with a hammer?

Mine didnt have a clip, etc. Its just pressed in there. Just wack it out with a drift and hammer. Maybe some wd40 first. Easy as. If you have more than one. Do them all whilst your there
