turbo vs natual asprated

looking into buying a gu ute in the next few weeks. Wanted a td but there arnt many out there mostly na disels. They are also asking quite a bit more for them. Would it be better to get a standard desiel and fit an aftermarket turbo? or pay the extra and get a factory jobby?
Its a wheelbase thing
