1986 Range Rover Drivetrain?

Post by TLCOR »

What kind of transmission, transfercase, axles, driveshafts, etc, are located under a 1986 Range Rover with the 3.5 litre V8? Specs? Good? Junk?

And how many of those parts are compatible with the parts on my '84 Stage One?

Thanks!

3.5 efi or possibly carb if early 86, zf 4spd auto ( great box), lt230 transfer (also great box), diffs rover style (ok if driven carefully and not too much power ).
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

LT77 5 speed or zf hp22 4 speed auto.

3.54 diffs rover 10 spline axles.
