is the 13g got efi , other wise if it only a carby you might find it difficult to charge, them . If it efi , you use the aircon bracket and the mount just below the exshaust manafolf and plumbing it all in.

this is my next project. done some research. couple of things to consider, are you going to run an intercooler (i am not because going to use low boost psi),

do you need a new ecu to program eft etc (unsure but could be good idea),

if efi do i need bigger injectors (unsure)

is my fuel pump good enough (do not want to run lean mixture)

probably need to use highest octane fuel avaliable

does the s/c need oil cooling (i am going to use an eaton m45, no oil cooling),

need to know s/c rpm verses boost to determine correct pulley sizes for application,

bypass valve can help with fuel economy (eaton is in-bulit),

large boost generally = shagged stock engine,

compression ratio (do i need to add a thicker head gasket),

daily driver or fun car (mine is a fun car)

only done lots of reading and do not really know how factual the previous info is! could all just be a load of crap, but its a fun project

yeha , you might also want to look in to the coily pullys as they are duel pully system .

Other wise, check out i think the for sale vechile section and there was a vitaria going cheap , you can buy and do a conversion then part the resst out to cover your costs.

why is everyone hell bent on efi.

why can't you sit the sc on top of manifold. I realise this may take some fab work, depending on how the sc will fit, ie may need a short bit of plumbing as it may sit a bit too far forward, or a new manifold. but hey its a modification anyway

and then sit a carby on top of that. either rejetting, or maybe looking at a 2L or so. then it will get the needed fuel.

has anyone seen a sc car with a carby????

have a look at a burnout video!

big arse motor + big arse sc + big arse carby = big arse horse power.

just a thought!
I want to try this, but my wallet has been tightened due to the need for a house.

enjoy ashley

im currently on the hunt for a used supercharger, i have got everything neccisary to fit it to my g13b.

I just purchased fuel injection and will fit it soon, but i am having trouble trying to find a charger, and amr300 from a subi (like mark used) i went to two different jap auto wreckers, one import one just a wrecker, neither had heard of a subaru with a charger from the factory, so i guess its going to be a long hunt, im also looking for a sc12 but cant find any either, when i actually start doing it all ill be sure to make a nice detailed story of what i did what i used with plenty of photos and what performance differences.

oh and you cant suck air through the carby unless it is air tight, also too much boost will just hold the butterfly open.

and agree with the bottom of your post... GERMO i have seen a g13 b supercharged with a carby and it never ran right even on low boost.

What carb was it running? Was it a blow thru or suk thru setup?? The calmini setup seemed to work quite well with the webers. This was a suk thru setup to

Hi Duncan,

Suzisport sells a complet bolt on kit with injection and computer blower etc for 2000. I am sure you could do all the fabrication yourself though. They sell injection manifolds for around 250 bucks but dont know it this is with the loom and computer. Would be better than stuffing around with the carby. I am looking at getting this setup for my zook.

Good luck,

hey mark. if we are talking about the same white suzuki that i think we are, it used to go hard when it was running right, but his new setup is awesome.

thanks for that virgina place mark, i forgot what you told me the first time, but yeah, it would be good if i could get the rock lobster in as soon as possible.

cheers beally

and why bother trying to do the whole carb thing when fuel injection is readily available for 500 bucks. even if you dont want to supercharge fuel injection is vastly superior. i managed to get a whole injection setup including ecu for 350.

EDIT: (sorry didnt realise my brother was logged in)
