Hilux light upgrade

Was looking to upgrade headlights in the lux. Currently have sealed beams (standard on 94 model) which are yellowy & weak as. ARB sell replacement lenses and bulbs (h4s) supposed to be about a 50% improvement on low beam. Was wondering has anyone done this & was it much better? thanx.

I am doing PIAA gear clearence, all at wholesale price, have some h4s heaps of improvemnt and will last for ages. rrp$270 sell $195 these are 80w/135w L/C H4s

yeah done it a lot better then i put a ipf wiring upgrade and bigger globes and that was better again

ok thanx guys was just wondering if it would improve much, or if they just wanted to sell some stuff. Looks like ill go shopping then.

I have a 87 surf same headlights as what you run and i upgraded them some time ago repco sell a h4 headlight lens that goes in with out any mods at all just take the old one out and put the new one in.

you dont need to upgrade your relays or wiring unless your going to bigger globes IE 90/120s stick to 55/60s or what ever they are standard but buy the navra 50% brighter.
