GQ 5 speed box speedo cable and wires

Post by Screwy »

got a 5 speed GQ gearbox from TD42.....

putting it behind my 5 litre in the MQ....

handbrake cable is easy to adapt.....

there are 3 sets of wires on the box... one up near the bellhousing... ( assuming its for reverse )

one set up near the transfer ( assuming its for 4x4 )

one set up at the back of the hand brake drum...

WHAT AER THESE FOR???

and y isnt there a speedo cable slot? or where is it if i missed it....

and IF your going to tell me that it has an electronic speedo and those wires at the back of handbrake drum are the speedo sensor....

can i replace this with a cable to the box or can i adapt my speedo for the wires?

cheers guys
