I did a bit of a search but did not find. I have a 90 gq model swb troll 4.2 petrol. I just paid deposit for a 99 gu ute turbo desile 4.2. The ute is on 35s. Will there be any advantage in swaping cwp if they fit(do they fit?)

if your shorty was a manual they are same ratios and the gu ute and your shorty should run 4.1 CWP

so no dont bother swapping if i was you before investing in gears put a 3" exhaust on and wind the the boost and fuel to about 14psi then decied whether you need the gear changes.

for the rear yes, u can just swap centres however for the front you will have to pull down the cwp and fit that to the GU centre.
