OZ Rock 4x4 Round 1 - 11th-12th March - Walbundry NSW

Post by Cheezy4x4 »

Oz Rock info for round 1 of 6 for 2006.

Round 1 will be held on the 11th and 12th of March in a little town called Walbundry in NSW around 50km west of Albury.
The town consists of 1 pub, 1 general store, 1 footy oval and one hell of an amazing rock crawling venue.
All are welcolme to compete or spectate as this will be the best crawling venue to date. It has up to 30 foot climbs, single steps, double steps, triple steps and even quad steps, also the biggest cracks and drop offs I have ever seen. The venue is just off the main road and is only a couple 100m from the centre of town.

Entry for competitors is only $200 a team, that Includes compertition, shirts, hats and camping at the footy club (driver and spotter only).

Spectator entry is $15 13 and under free.
Spectators can also camp at the footy club for $15 per person.
Meals will be available at the event and the camping area at a cheap rate (put on by the footy club) so support the club and town.

This will make all other events look like a Safeway carpark. ;)

So for ease of organisation please post up if you are going to compete or spectate ASAP, (including camping at the footy club).

More details and a mud map will be posted up on our site soon www.ozrock4x4.com
or contact Cheezy or Mock at Cheezy Racing on 03 97629032

Someone needs to keep an eye on Guts, there's just too many sheep around to let him go unsupervised.

So count me in.

Forget the sheep :!: He had his eye on a wallaby  I'd like to see that when he gets full(I'll look after that part  )and starts to feel the procreation need.
I think he would end up making rock wallaby's :finger: :finger:

Beat me to it.

I can get there without going through ANY towns, so I guess I might have to put in an appearance.
Been through there heaps of times and never looked at those rocks in that way.
Could be the biggest event to ever hit town.

Yeah I know they have a show and footy.
Maybe I was hoping it would out do these if enough people get behind it.
Plus it goes for 2 days.

Ahh the days of Bush Footy. Every one sits in their cars and beeps the horn like crazy when you kick a goal. I'd look doing everything you can to involve the community so as to keep them onside. Little things like an outside vendor selling drinks can annoy some.

P.S. I too was gunna pick ya spelling mistake but i thought id lead from the front. ;)
