Post by bigpilchard »

Hello Fellas ,Just about to order a new gq patrol ute 4.2 TD and want to know what you recon is the best colour.
It will have a steel bar and winch.By the way any one know what winch they use?
It will also have a colour coded steel tray and snorkel.I opted for a red one any one disagree???

Silver/pewter is the new white- looks absolutely trick with black acessories! But as said- totally a personal choice. White as said definately best for scratches- but hard to colour match with repairs- almost harder than most metallics!

silver. Better reale value than white and hides scratches relatively well.

Champagne would be pretty siliar too.

Thanks for all the replies fellas.I am getting the ute and have decided to go a red one I think it will look good with all black accessories and some claws on it.it is a work ute for now .
Final order.
Red 4.2 t/d gu ute
black front winch bar with winch
red tray
snorkel
tinted windows

have a set of micket thompson wheels with radial 33" claws to throw straight on
Any one know if 33 will fit ok under the ute without them rubbing when turning??
Cheers Marty

15" or 16"? Alloy or steel?

If they are 15" alloy, I think you'll find they won't fit over the brake calipers. Any other combo should be sweet.
