Logan Nite runs

Post by HeathGQ »

Mainly a question for Murray - The Logan nite runs, how difficult is the wheeling? Thinking of doing the August one and just curious about the terrain. Can do medium rated stuff when put on by teh GC club, but just wondering what 'medium' means to the Logan club?

Any help would be appreciated.

1st one I went on was rated Medium with Hard options. I took most of the options and did my CV on the last one :D The rest of the stuff would be fine for any Feroza.

Last run was rated Hard, and it was hard. Only did bits of it, always options on their trips. Next one is a medium navigation run, should be fine for you, honestly. If worst comes to worst, you can turn around and pull out but I haven't had too yet.

At the hard parts, I usually park and just watch, chat, give shit etc

I'll be there for sure with Heather as my Navigator. Suggest you have a navigator if possible. Also, you MUST have a front and rear recovery point. I have a factory hook on the front and removed my tow ball (use the hole in the tounge) for the rear. You must also have a snatch strap and 2 rated shackles and the cost is $10 bucks. Well worth it, lots of fun. Don't forget a pen and a torch as well :) :)
