Roof cover (bikini) STRAPLESS

Post by Maria »

Here is a pic of the roof cover with not straps all the way to the back.
Please note that this is only a temple. Is fit onto the car really good, it is attached by straps on the sides and a center straps for tightines. the same way that TJ jeeps bikini works. The roof cover stays very tight.
It can be fit on it own or with the widjammer.

I will placing a zip around the top and half way down of the windjammer to be abble to open it . It will be roll down half way, just under your shoulders.

It is an extra $15 cost for this.

We took the car with the soft top set fitted for a run to test how much this will flap. Non of the three pieces flap at all. Remember we are talking about soft tops, made with fabric, it will never be as tight as a hard top or tin! But this soft tops had turn up really really good. I know what a mean as my daily car is a CJ7 jeep with a soft top from fabric, and this one yes, it falps!

Here is a pic of the Suzuki with the set on.

zip on the windjammer is a great idea =)

looking VERY schmick!

are the 3 studs on the windjammer to tray cover enough to stop water oozing in if it pools in the tray??

a couple of Q's if you will maria.

1. with both windows down does the rear windjammer flap around?
2. is it possible to get the windjammer in full 3 side zip off, so that it can be unzipped at top and sides and rolled up at the bottom?

cheers

When I sale my soft tops the windjammer and the tonnaeu will be attach via press tuds and velcro for better water resistence. If you all ready have the tonnaeu if you want this sytem you wil need to send your tonnaeu to me to sew the velcro onto it, or find some where you leave to do this for you. The attachement will always be by 5 press studs, velcro only for better water resestence.

Windjammer fit straight to the car, it does not get attach to bikini. All three pieces get attach individualy to the car. The bikini overlaps the windjammer and makes that area water resistence.

Windajmmer doesn't flap with both windows down.

To zips the window in the windjammer all the way down the window need to be smaller, you will loose visibility on the back of your right shoulder. Yes it can be done.

Over sea shipping is very expensive from here, you will be looking something around $ 50 economic (for 2 soft tops pieces) or $ 55 air mail.

This are australian dollars.

Thanks

I reckon that slope top looks bloody fantastic.

Reading through this entire thread just now is making me unsure of whether or not I really want a tintop. I'm looking at one this arvo but the roofless zooks can look so damn hot!

Looks vs. covenience. I have no bloody idea :(
