what are the amperage of disco alternators? it is a 94 300tdi will be coming off sat to do psteer pump so was curious of what part no = what amps?

i have heard there are 2 diferent brand alts for them marelli or something were the 100 amp jobies need to know for my dual batt vsr setup

My 200 Tdi disco is a 65 amp marelli.

ALL 300Tdi Discos got the 100 AMP alternator. I fit these to Defenders as the Fender standard one is 65 to 85 amp.

4.6 hse ones are 120 or 140 amp or somthing. more electric gadgets, and i have been told they are a straight swap.

I think HSE ones have a double mounting leg, and as such will probably fit straight on the serpentine front 3.9V8 engine, MA disco onwards. I think they wont fit the 300Tdi.
