well i had to change my steering box in the old GQ its an 1988 tb42 lwb petrol,
i managed to get another box from a fellow and it came out of a 89 modle now when i got it i had to change flexible coupling as one side was too long and i put my orignal one on it , then came the pitman arm i did try to take them off to swap around but i ended up snappling the pitman arm puller tool so i left it on but found the relay rod bold hole was too small for my relay rod i drilled it out a tad and made it fit , now i made sure everything was as it was when i took it all off, now i count 2 full turn to the left and 2 full turn to the right but im finding that i havent got much turning to the right turn left is no problem but turning right i feel im looseing some turning
am i missing somthing????????
