I have installed new inner and outer bearings in the rear of my 75 series when re-installing the adjuster not how tight should it be?

torque it up til it just starts to thread then back it off :rofl: nar seriously there is a setting in the 75 series work shop manual try done loading it from the net?

I didn't know there was a place on the net where you could download workshop manuals? Even if I knew the torque spec it would be impossible to set as the nut has 3 studs and uses a Toyota Special Tool. I just thought someone on this board would of changed bearings on a full floating rear and come accross this before.

yeah rock there is a special tool for the job i didnt have on so i made one just a little bit of cutting and welding and it works a treat. and its not impossible as the studs have a few lo0cations if you looked in the manual
heres an idea go to the nearest news agent and have a look for the
JUST 4X4S mag have a look through that and you should find a mail order form to order the right cruiser manual itll cost you $40 to $50 max good luck :finger: :D
