chasis conversion for 91 rosa to model without IFS?

Post by lkgrainger »

Can this be done? eg get a Rocky chasis and bolt up to it. I like the body, dont like the IFS (want to lift it and get more flex). And before anyone sugests getting another make of car forget it.
Any sugestions?

get another car :finger: :finger: :D

My original idea was to swap the Feroza body onto a Hilux chassis......but that would have made an effectively NEW car and would have to meet all the ADR's for that year....including EPA requirements.

AND

no Engineer wanted to touch that idea.

Good Luck

Why not do a body lift and a Solid Axle Swap into the front... It is done very often and gets rid of the IFS setup.

Rockys would be my choice if I was to build up a tough Daihatsu.

I would start with the longer wheelbased resin top model (non IFS).
Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.
