Guys, I have a vapour lock problem with my GM 6.5l diesel. When the weather is on the warm side or the engine has been working harder than normal, chances are good I'm going to get a vapour lock when I turn it off. This is easy enough to overcome with some water over the injector pump but I'm sure this in not a good thing.
The injector pump sits ontop of the V at the front so it is also copping the heat from the radiator. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you get around it?
