Nah just expensive to make on a small scale and be street legal i would guess.
I have seen these rims on some comp cars and they can take a fair hammering without bending.
But by the time these get bead locked rings welded to them as well. I think I would just buy some WalkerEvans alloy beadlocks.

can ask

A bloke at tafe had a set on his FJ40 cruiser 15x8 I asked him a while back and said he may sell em, I picked up a set of 15X8 hurricanes real cheep so havent hassled him. They are ally and I too love the look of them. Will ask if he still wants to part with them. Most 15x8 stuff is cruiser offset but works fine on Patrol.

point was that the price is cheap compared to some mags on the market.
Was quoted $1500 for tires and mags for maxima few weeks back, nearly choked on the coke zero...

Plus anything custom, you have to expect large $.. Stock sunnys are $60-70 now...

I was just after them for a different look more than anything to do with added strenght etc... Ill just have to stick with sunnies for now i think.

i would happily pay twice the price of a sunnie...say $100 - 120ea..but $200 is a bit too much to just change the look.
