Went for a play at the waimac today in the Safari whale, got stuck in some water/mud approx 3" inside vehicle. After that I had some problems with the auto not changing gear, starting in 2rd and not changing up etc(power light/glow plug light flashing)could be water in fuse box area or P.C.M/connections etc.Is the P.C.M located in the left front kick panel?Has anyone had this happen?Auto has been rebuilt by last owner pretty sure thats fine.
Still it was good fun
I had a similar thing happen to my gq 6 months or so ago.
turned out the auto oil was pretty low, nfi why water triggered it to stay
in 2nd though.. after about 30k's it kicked back to normal operation.
changed the oil and filter etc soon after as it was pretty filthy.

FYI, the 24-12volt reducer can be found in one of the side compartment boxes in the rear.
I dryed the P.C.M out in the kick panel, auto working fine again(was quite wet)also dryed out the one on the right hand side possabley for glow plugs?? (has NGK spark plugs.co on it)that was wet also.
well relocate both of them a little higher under dash as they both have enough wiring to do so.
