THINKING CAPS ON.....anyone know what vehicle i might find this type of bolt on type hub on. the picture has the disk cut off it. its a 4 bolt configuration with a large retaining nut underneath in the centre. it obviously has extra stuff welded to in now

Escorts and early 4 cylinder Toranas also had 4 bolts - but given that you're not likely to find many of those any more, "small jap car" is probably a good summary.

Go have a dig around a wrecker's yard - you should find something you like.

That looks just like a rear hub from a drum braked Corolla circa 1989-1996.

could be just a custom made bit.......whatever it is looks good

Thats the ticket. A hub centre, without the flange. Complete with bearings for under $40, how could you lose. Its exactly what I have on mine, except mine was turned up to suit. I would guess these have been asked for so many times, for spare wheel carriers, they have decided to specifically make them. Finally, someone who sees a need, and caters for it.

That looks like an early jeep jeeroke tail light so I reckon you would find it on one of those. :lol:

thankyou muchly. went toi pick n payless this morning walked sr8 up to the corolla section and there it was. :D

will be modding this for a rear wheel carrier an since there is a current subject on this i will post pics there.
