Wreckers in Sydney?

Post by beretta »

Anyone recommend a wrecker in Sydney that does Patrols and Navara's? Closer to the city the better, but it doesn't matter too much.

Thanks for the help!

I'm after a couple of things, but one thing is a H233 LSD rear diff out of a navara to the it in the front of my GQ. Will give them a try familybus.

Yeah, yeah, save your cash and buy lockers, heard it before and I understand.......but I want to try the LSD first and go from there.

Thanks for the replies though!

Central Coast 4x4 are cool as well. Not in Sydney I know but they take phone orders and whatever you buy is usually at your door within a week. Pricing not too bad either in my experience.

but why waste the money and time doing the LSD if you know its not what you want in the end?

But I didn't say it was what I wanted, yet anyway! I'm not that extreme that I need airlockers yet, nor does the budget allow for it. I can put an LSD in myself and give it a try, won't cost me a lot, then if I don't like it I'll try an airlocker

all model spares at revesby, or bouncer spares at smithfield...

they are the only 2 ive used, and are over priced and farely rude most of the time unless your , wallet talks....

ive found that normal wreckers ( largish ones ) that have a couple of 4 wheel drives out of pure luck that happen to be the model your after are the best.....

i use a local one at narellan or another one in campbelltown when i absolutely need to... not very often... as they have like 2 patrols and i know they have wat i want and are farely helpful and cheaper as they dont know the prices that the 4x4 wreckers charge....

Thanks for the replies, I know what everyone means about the prices and service, been to plenty of wreckers before lot of jerks in that game, but I will have a look around and see what I can find, might even get it sent up from Melbourne by someone I know in the industry down there.

THanks for the help!

Give J Mac Diff & Gear at Arndell Park a call 9671 5800 John had one of these about 6 weeks ago, he might still have it.

Went to Bouncer Spares today, good bloke had a good ol chat, I was happy with the service, I paid $25 for a factory recovery point, I know someone who paid $20 for one in Melbourne, so thats in the ball park as far as I am concerned. Asked him about a diff I was after and he was very helpful even though they didn't have what I was after, gave me names of competitors and who to ask for at each one, struggle to get that sort of help anywhere else for nuthin!

Thanks for the replies everyone.
