Biodiesel

Post by Grasshopper »

Has anyone tried commercial biodiesel in their 1HZ?I am trying Biodiesel 20 in the cruiser at the moment and was wondering if anyone had any good or bad experiences with it?Am aware of potential filter blockage etc.The fuel is 10c ltr cheaper than std diesel. There are three different blends.Bio 20,50 or 100.

I'm very interested in trying this as well, but where in southern Sydney do you get it from. I'm travelling from the gong to chullora every day so any saving might be worth it.

Biodiesel

Hope I am allowed to give out commercial details.I dont want to upset the moderators. If I do then please accept my apologies. The servo is on the corner of Marrickville rd and Sydney rd Marrickville.I am currently trialling Biodiesel 50 in with normal diesel 50:50 ratio. No filter blockages yet.You need to be able to change a filter on the roadside if necassary as Biodiesel cleans your fuel lines and tanks. The fuel price on Friday was $1.24 for B100 upto $1.28 for B20.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, how about some locations in Brisbane?
