100 series tyre size

Post by GoTheLux »

Mate wants to fit bigger tyres to his ifs hunjy its got a 2inch lift. It looks like 33,s should fit ok. Also will a locker make the front diff less likely to bust, read somewhere about putting a solid spacer in there also. Is this a good idea?? Thanks guys.

hi i posted the same question only 4 an 80 series a couple of weeks ago i ended up putting 315/75/16s on with 2 inch lift ,seemed to be ok .have now gone 4 inch though. some people said that when your 4wding they can scrub a bit under certain articulation but otherwise ok. i also have a 100 series and it looks to me as if the guard clearance is greater in it standard than my 80 had with 2inch lift so im guessing 2 inch in a 100 series should be ok under normal driving they fit perfect .hope this helps a liitle
