After 3 diff ratio swaps & 2 correction boxes from Marks Adaptors,I just installed crawler transfer gears & has left me with 7% reduction in final drive (bout 15k's out) .Now I used my 1st correction box which brought it within 8k's of true.
I am wondering whether any soldering/electrical know how is needed with the construction of one of these Jaycar units? Cause I know sweet FA about electrical.

What vehicle is this for? RA Rodeo?
You do need to be able to build the ciruit board which requires placing the components in their correct position and then soldering them in. To be able to put the components in their correct place you need to knw how to read the colour codes and other info on the side of the individual components (not hard).
However once the kit has been built you need to find your vehicles speed sense wire (follow wires from gearbox vehicle speed sensor) and then perform a few tests on the wire to decide how to tailor the kit to your speed sensor type (kit instructions explain how to do this).
This kit is also able to be customised (using trimpots) so you can adjust your speedo anything from 99% under read to 99% over read.
I think the 31s on my R7 Rodeo equates to 6%. So you will only ever require the one box no matter what tyre/gearing changes you make.
