Post by rangemann »

i can't put the holden engine in to the rangie with the air compressor still stuck to it. the the aircompressor uses the holden engine mount and the holden engine mount is going. anybody fabbed a new mount for the air compressor and want to make me one too?!? i got a few spare dollars.
hsv rangie i checked out your mate andrews site about the 5l and he left it out. did he eventually get it in?

Im guessing you are using a late EFI 5ltr engine?
The early one (VN) had the compressor hanging off a bracket that mounts behind the powersteer pump on the same bolts and does not use the engine mount bracket.
I hope this helps.

Mount the ac on the left side of engine.
use the RR pump sanden type.

The ac and alt mount on the same bracket, bolts to the 3 bolts on the end of head.
