Hi Guys,
Can some one please tell me if 225/75/R15 tyres will fit on a Vitara 95?
(I presume stock)

Yes but they won't be legal on the stock rims then again they won't be legal anyway unless it's Engineered.

thanks for replies. i did look through the links listed above. the question comes about as im trying to sell these tyres and a zook person asked if they fit. of course I had no idea, nor know anything about the vehicle in question.
not worried legal issues, not my problem.

why woulnt the be legal. there no more then a 10% bigger

standard suzuki rims are 5.5" wide. a 235/75R15 (or a 225) requires a minimum 6" wide rim.

Sam, who told you it was 10%? I think you'll find it's more like 15mm or less increase in dia. over the largest fitted to that vehicle.

....and rims should be no more than 25mm wider than the widest fitted so for a Vit that would be 6.5" + 1" = 7.5" is the widest rim allowed.
