Hi All
I don't know if it's a problem or not, but the rear leaf springs on my sierra are almost straight and the front leaf springs are bent up in the middle (opposite of what you normally see).
Is that normal for sierras or are my leaf springs overly worn out and nearly ready to break? Should I be concerned? I have heard of leaf springs breaking before, and it wouldn't be pleasant for one of them to break whilst travelling at speed, one may find themself wrapped around a tree.

In a leaf spring sierra with standard length and position leafs, comfort isnt going to happen.Depending on how far you want to take your car, might be a good time to look at RUF and or different leafs.

I've got the OME dakar 2 inch lift with light duty spring in them. It's fine although it looks as if the standard shock thats comes with them are too short but i haven'e been bothered to check its just a suspicion if you get them check them at the mechanics before you drive away it may save you a trip back. otherwise they are going well and i got the full kit for 1000 fitted. in melbourne outer east.
